Hope in Times of Trouble
Did you ever notice that no one hopes that something bad will happen? Hope is always associated with good.
We hope to get a
good grade on a test or hope that we get the job promotion. We hope that we have money to pay off the mortgage or
hope to be healed. The Bible brings hope to people because it is the good news that tells us the good things God has done for us.
This is why Romans 15:13 tells us that God is the author of hope.
